I've officially gotten back into the swing of going to the office. I attended my first staff meeting on Tuesday morning and proceeded with my day as usual. Joel (who mentors me in my internship) gave me the low down on my schedule this semester and let me know that I'd be busier than last as I'll be able to get my hands on more projects.

Yesterday and today I woke up at 8:30am, on the dot. When school starts up again I'll have to prep myself to wake up a little earlier so that I can make the one early class I signed up for (6:20am... at least it's not a 5:30am class).

On a different note, I spent some quality time with my parents on Tuesday night. We had dinner and watched a movie, which is pretty much what we always do when we want to spend quality time together. We watched "Drumline" which wasn't really something I wanted to watch until all the other interns at the office who had previously seen the movie ranted and raved about it being something fun to watch.

They were right. Although the movie was highly unrealisitic, I liked it. I liked the fact that it revolved around the drive people feel in association to or with music. I found myself feeling the same appreciation for the movie that I felt when I watched the cheesy teen movie, "Bring It On."

No one can argue with spirit fingers, now can they?

Yesterday I met up with Seda for dinner and talked while eating. We met up with Dee, Matt, and Kaleo after dinner and did some cold chillin at Starbucks.

I wussed out and decided to go home and get rest which really meant that I went home and did devotions as well as a little room cleaning. Things were getting a bit disheveled and I couldn't take it anymore so I cleaned up after doing my devotions with what little energy I had left.

Now it's time for a full day of interning with some ministry time tonight as Xtreme will be having it's first service of the new year. I left my cell phone at home this morning so I'll have to go and pick it up sometime today so that I can be a bit more accessible.
