The weather is picking up in Hawaii and I love it. It's cold outside and starting to feel more like Christmas. What would usually consist of pre-pubescent girls in their beach wear and people in shorts are now pant-wearing, sweater clad people roaming the busy malls trying to buy gifts while staying warm from the cold outside.

The funniest thing about this whole winter-time-in-Hawaii situation is that any seasoned mainlander, that is used to the type of cold that comes along with snow, would laugh and tease any of us islanders that needs a sweater from this 65degree chill.

Either way, I'm so happy it's cold. If I could, I'd live in a parka or peacoat. Preferably the later.

Anyhow, my Mom got into a car accident on Saturday but came out of the situation ok. The car she was driving is pretty much a wreck; the side is bashed in so badly that the door is stuck, smashed half way open and the roof someone got dented inward and the glass on the front is parway shattered.

My Mom was a bit frazzled after the accident but my Dad and I and DeAnna, whom I was hanging out with that day, got to my Mom pretty fast and she was shaken up if anything. This morning she was complaining a little more about her back and side and so I'm praying that it isn't anything too bad.

Later that day, my Mom felt up to watching a movie so my whole family (including Miss DeAnna) went for pho dinner and a movie (Analyze That... the first was better but I still liked the movie because I've got this crazy thing for mobster comedies).

Today I hung out with my parents after church and ate way too much food. We hung out with some family just earlier tonight and found out that the Lilo and Stitch DVD that my Mom bought as a Christmas gift to my little cousin is going to me on the count that my little cousin already has the DVD.

And so, it's time to stop writing and watching my new DVD. yeah.
